This policy describes how Quality Estimates, Inc. ("QE") handles information in the QE Dispatch portal.
Account details (name, email, phone) for portal users; claim information provided by insurance companies and appraisers (parties, vehicles, estimates, photos, and documents); and basic technical logs needed to operate the service.
Solely to perform appraisal and claims management services: dispatching assignments, tracking claim status, generating reports and invoices, and sending service notifications by email (and text message, where a user has opted in).
Claim data is visible only to QE staff, the assigned appraiser, and the insurance company that owns the claim. We use service providers to operate the portal — hosting (Render), email delivery (Google Workspace), accounting (Intuit QuickBooks Online), and, where enabled, text messaging (Twilio) — each receiving only the data needed for their function. We do not sell personal information.
Claim records are retained as required for business and regulatory purposes. Access requires individual authenticated accounts, and connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
